You can publish content stored both on your smartphone and in Google Drive.
DS-GO offers two ways to publish content from Google Drive:
- Publishing individual media files.
- Publishing folders with media files.
Publishing individual media files is almost identical to publishing content from your phone, except that content from Google Drive won’t take up space on your smartphone’s memory; it’s uploaded directly to your TV or media player. And if you delete the published content from Google Drive, it will still play on your TV until you manually delete it or remove it from publication in the DS-GO app.
Using folders differs significantly from the first option. Publish a Google Drive folder to your TVs. The folder can even be empty. Now, all media files uploaded to this folder will be automatically published and played on your TVs. To remove a file from publication, simply delete them from the folder or move them to another, unpublished folder.

To publish individual media files from Google Drive, add your Google account to the DS-GO app.
If, when registering for the DS-GO service, you used a Google account and allowed DS-GO access to your Google Drive, you can immediately use Google Drive by clicking “+” in the Content section and selecting your Google Drive account.
If you registered for DS-GO using an email address or did not grant the app access to your Google Drive, you can add an account by clicking “+” in the Content section and selecting “Add Google Drive Account.”
